This lady always has a smile on her face & a song in her heart. I’ve seen her for years collecting for the Salvation Army both inside & outside of the local post office. I missed seeing her this year & will remember her with a kind heart.

Deloris, you were such a faithful servant. Nothing could keep you from your dedication to the Lord. Your life had many obstacles but still you pushed on and continued to put your faith in the Lord to carry you through. Your testimony was a blessing to so many who needed to hear what God had done for you and would do for them. As you left this world and was welcomed into the gates of heaven, I am sure you heard “well done thou good and faithful servant”. I will miss you, but my heart is content knowing you now live in heaven. Goodbye my friend, till we meet again in heaven.

Oh I’m so sad to see this. I too have very fond memories of Delores when she and my dad “went together” years ago. Have such fond memories of her children Elaine ( l was in her wedding), Eddie (taught me how to kick his butt at Gin Rummy), and Bill. Always wondered where everyone ended up. Delores was a wonderful woman and so good to us Marvin kids and my daddy. She never had an unkind word to say ever about anyone. My prayers are with all her family as I know she will be missed tremendously by them and the community to which she gave way more to than she received. Rest In Peace sweet Delores. You deserve all that Heaven has to offer. I know He greeted you with “Well done my good and faithful servant”. Peace be with the family and friends.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dear Granny, I have such found memories with you growing up and going to church at the Salvation Army and going to church camp. You have been such a big support for me and my sisters always. You are forever in our hearts and memories. I love you so much. With love, Your granddaughter

Deloris was a beautiful person and a very good faithful servant of the Lord. She was always at church unless she was really sick and could not make it, if the doors were open Deloris was there. I will miss you very much your seat at church will be empty without you, but your mansion in heaven is waiting for you. Love you and will really miss you!!!
