Deina Biggs Harvell, 86, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel, Big Spring with Eddy Pitchford officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park, Big Spring. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, May 1, 2017 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.Deina was born March 14, 1931 in Big Spring and married Noel Rose Harvell, Jr. July 17, 1948 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death February 9, 1996.She was a bookkeeper for White's Auto and also worked for the State National Bank. Deina was active in the Coahoma Sports Booster and the Quarterback Club. She was a member of the Coahoma Church of Christ.Deina is survived by a cousin, Wanda Anderson of Big Spring; and her church family at Coahoma Church of Christ. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by a son, Noel Leon Harvell; an infant son; two infant daughters and her parents.The family suggests that memorials be made to the New Mexico Christian Children’s Home, 1356 New Mexico 236, Portales, New Mexico, 88130.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
