BABS - my personal nickname for her At her celebration of life about a month ago we were able to sit around her and go around and say to her, while she was beginning her transition into the 4th dimension, we were able to express gratitude to her in person about how she touched our life. Some of the things we remember that were said Also, she had things all around her house that were quotes and saying of things in the program, that she gave her life to…. - Thank you for saving my life, - She told one girl to dress-like a lady - It’s not about saving lives it’s about getting someone sober, so they can save their own life - When you come to a fork in the road, take the fork - Every hardship of this journey has fallen away I can’t even remember them right now - Someone said I wish I had spent more time with you, she said “your loss” - “It’s not happening to you it’s happening around you” - Life is full of experiments, for some reason this is what you need to learn right now - Being able to just sit and not talk - Thank you for letting me be here, with heroes - Thank you for saving my mom - You are showing us how to do it - You left and came back - Anytime someone called on Deb, she had no idea what she would say - Your going to do service work, - Most things just wouldn’t be appropriate for funeral, lol - She showed up for every event - Write it down - Lee has been an angel - A privilege to be loving you thru your transition and in contrast the story about a person who died alone only to be identified by her hip replacement in contrast to the one who died surrounded by love amd support in a group of people who wouldn’t normally mix - She directed that picture pose, she told the photographer how exactly she wanted the beautiful picture with Lee - Double efforts when things are good - Help me ronda, help, help, me Rhonda - It’s good, this too shall pass - One of my personal favorites that sums her personality up, her answering machine said, “ if you are calling because you want to stop drinking leave a massage for Deb.. If you are calling to order a bottle of wine leave a message for lee” - If I miss quoted anything sorry but hope you get the gist, which is she made a difference!
