Debra Lee Elliott, 61, of Big Spring, TX, lost her brave and hard fought battle with cancer on Friday, March 1, 2019. She entered the Lord’s loving arms surrounded by her family. Graveside services will held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Chaplain Brad Daniels officiating.She was born on June 29, 1957 to Billie and Vonnie Hopper of Big Spring, TX. She married the love of her life, Jace Elliott, on October 28, 1976. They had one son, Cory, and two grandsons, Connor and Brayden.There was nothing Debra loved more than being a Nana to her grandsons. She was their biggest cheerleader and supporter. They always knew they could count on their Nana for anything and everything. They adored her as much as she adored them. She was also a wonderful and loving caregiver to her mother, Vonnie. She bravely faced her cancer diagnosis with hope and positivity and continued to be a pillar of strength to the rest of her family. Everyone who knew her will always remember her loving and giving nature and love of her family.She is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Hopper and her father, Billie Hopper.
