Deborah Lynn Morton

Deborah Morton, 66 of Big Spring, TX, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held from 12:00PM-2:00PM, Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home Chapel, Midland, TX. Graveside services will follow at 3:00PM, Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Resthaven Memorial Park, Midland, TX.

Deborah was born on July 9, 1957 in Los Angeles, CA to Gladys and Billy Diez. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was always there to listen, offer support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A Scuba Diver, Truck Driver, Respiratory Therapist and Casa Advocate, she loved adventure and spreading love to everyone she met.

Deborah (Debi) Morton is survived by her husband Scott Morton of Big Spring, TX, Sister Paula Diez, of Big Spring, TX, Patty Vanderburg of San Angelo, TX, Diane Galloway of Big Spring, TX, Tracy Phletcher of Pennsylvania, and brother George Monken of Oregon and Kenneth Markham of Indiana. Sons Jamie Pearson of Denver City, TX, Adam Pearson of Midland, TX, and Casey Pearson of Midland, TX. Ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild, who were the absolute loves of her life.

Debi Morton is preceded in death by her mother Gladys Monken, and father Billy Diez. Her maternal grandparents Thelma and Wiliam Rice, and paternal grandparents Pauline and Willy Diez, brothers Robert Monken and Stephen Monken.

The pallbearers will be Adam Pearson, Jaime Pearson, Casey Pearson, Justin Morton, Corey Morton, Michael Morton.
