What fun we used to have when we lived next door to each other-our kids growing up together, our morning coffee's, shopping and wonderful trips. We didn't see much of each other as we got older, but our memories will never leave us. We love you and your family. Ann & Herman

Dearest Al, Reece, Pam, Trisha, Billy Jack…..my heart breaks for each of you…..as my heart is breaking for all who knew Darleen! She was that person who would see to it that there was a smile on your face…..even if that was the last thing that you wanted to do! To say that she was an amazing cook is a total understatement! To say that she was…..The hostess with the Mostess….well, that is a fact! She was that….and so much more! I could share many things….but will only share my first memory of meeting Darleen! We had just moved from CT to Midland and I thought that we had surely lost our minds! However, we were able to join Ranchland Hills….so I packed up my four kiddos and headed for the pool! As I settled in with the four and all of my ‘stuff’, I looked across the pool….and there was this beautiful blonde chasing a toddler and calling for him to stop! She called…..BILLY JACK!! And that was my first meeting with Darleen! I will always remember that first time! I wish that we could be there for all of you….but will be thinking of you! Sending love from both of us!!

I have no words…….. as cliche as this is going to sound, God just gained another Angel! Truly…. Such a radiant smile and such a warm heart! And what a legacy she has left behind! God bless her home and her family and may they feel your love and comfort in the days to come! I love you Al, Pam and Trish! My heartfelt condolences to all!

Truly, no words suffice to describe Darleen! She was a treasure of a friend and a hoot of a good time! She & my stepmother, Big A, guaranteed a great party any time we got together. It might only be a small gathering of us girls, but the laughs & smiles were there! I always said, “I want to sit with Miss Darlene. She brings out the best in me!” Fly high, my friend! The angels will love every minute with you! (My condolences to her lovely family. Hugs to you, Al. You & Darlene are a class act. Love y’all!)
