Danny Carl Jackson, 73, of Big Spring, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home- Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring, Tx.

He was born on January 3, 1952, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Carl Leroy and Vera (Carnes) Jackson. He dedicated 32 years of service to Texaco/Chevron before retiring. Danny had a deep love for music, cherished his family, and enjoyed traveling. He was known for his simple joys like his love for bubblegum and for his strong belief in God, which guided his life and values.

Danny is survived by his children, Cassie Gang and her husband, Eric, and Toby Jackson and his wife, K’Dee; grandchildren, Sterling Clanton (Cole McClurg), K’LynnGarcia, Jackson Clanton, Easton Jackson, Daxton Gang, and Kloee Walleck (Ryan); siblings, Michael Jackson (Linda) and Tarry Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Leroy and Vera (Carnes) Jackson.

Great classmate but an even better friend. Although distance kept us from physically visiting we kept in touch by phone often. Going to miss my friend.

Danny was more than a friend, he became family nearly 30 years ago when our job took us to West Texas where we shared an apartment before our families could join us. The memories made over the years are ones that will always be cherished. I am grateful for his friendship and for the blessing of staying connected all this time. My heartfelt prayers go out to his family and especially his children & grandchildren, whom he loved dearly and was so very proud of. Danny will be deeply missed by all of us. Love Charlie & family

So so many memories. I would load up the notes if I posted them all here. I did post most of them on Facebook. I will miss him very much. He was a good friend and nobody else like him. He was my go to guy with questions about songs and what artist did what song when I couldn't think of it.. He was an expert I think. But he'd usually tell me "Google it". 😂😂. I got to where I'd say "no I want YOU to Google it FOR me." Prayers for all you kids and grandkids. He adored yall. Cassie keep my number. I love you all. Rest in Peace, Danny. We will see you again.
