Cynthia Ruiz Sanchez

Cynthia Ruiz Sanchez, 66, of Monahans, Texas, passed away on July 29, 2025 in the town of Midland, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held in Monahans at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 9 2025 at the Event Center, 1525 Monahans Pkwy, Monahans, Texas.

Cynthia was born in Ft. Stockton to Salvador and Manuela Ruiz on December 31, 1958.  She went to school in Monahans, Texas.  She married Fernando Sanchez.  She worked as a cashier at Lowes Grocery Store for many years.  Cindy was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kindness and love for her family.

Cindy is preceded in death by her daughter Theresa Ruiz, her husband Fernando Sanchez, her parents Salvador and Manuela Ruiz

Cynthia is survived by her son Joshua Oyerbides and wife Amanda Oyerbides of Midland, sister Arciela Acosta and husband Ralph Acosta of Midland, Nora Miles of San Marcos, Joseph Ruiz and wife Edith Ruiz of San Antonio.  Grandchildren Danielle Lopez and husband Alex Lopez of Midland, Kristian Ruiz of Midland, Isaiah Ruiz of Odessa, Ryan Grantham wife Anaiz Grantham of Midland.  Great grandchildren, Alejandro Lopez, Analise Lopez, Adan Lopez, Aubree Sanchez, Averree Sanchez, Lukas Grantham, Olivia Grantham, Liam Grantham.
