I lost touch with Craig and just now thought to look him up because a Tracy Lawrence concert near me tonight brought back a memory. My bad — should have done it sooner. For the couple years I lived in Midland, I loved this dude. Loved him. Some people were like — why do you hang out with that dude? I loved him. My kind of guy. I moved there for a job at 22 yo and didn’t know a freaking soul for 1500 miles. We got along right away. He introduced me around to the Midland notables — Andy Patteson, Brad Spicer, Barr Bolger, Dollar Bill, Vaughn Edmunson, Kelly, etc. I was from Boston, so a novelty for West Texas. We played golf 2-3 days a weeks. Hung out at the Sports Tap for trivia happy hour and Jazz Cajun Bar (Tom & Jared) all the time. Wall Street for steaks. The Bar for NFL Sunday’s. Hit Acuna a few times. I flew him home to my place in St Augustine Florida and we played TPC Sawgrass together — a dream he couldn’t believe came true. He’d appreciate me letting folks know that he birdied 17. And he did. Hit it to 6 feet and made the putt on the Sunday pin placement. Craig, sail on. Great guy.

I am so sorry to hear of Craig's passing. He was such a light and never failed to make me smile with his comedic attitude. Although I haven't seen Craig for many years, his wonderful memory will live on through the many friends he acquired passing through this life. My sincere condolences to his family...

Genie & I will miss Craig very much. We have known him since his teenage years and beyond. It was a real experience just being in his presence. You never knew what he would say or how he would react to whatever was going on at the time, which was always entertaining. God Bless you Marlene and we know Craig is at home with the Lord. We Loved him very much. Mom & Pops Keneipp
