Croker, Corinne Faye, 79, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, November 8, 2000, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2000, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. ClaudeCraven, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on April 5, 1921 in Fluvanna, Texas and married Hiram Croker on November 1, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas. Corinne came to Big Spring in 1971 and had owned and operated A & W Grocery for a number of years. She was an excellent ceramist and ran a shop out of her home until unable. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Hiram Croker of Big Spring; two sons, Billy D. Samples of Pagosa Springs, Colorado and Douglas Maples of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Blanche Nunley of Graham and Inez Smith of Wichita Falls; one brother, Alvin Whitaker of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of dear friends. The family suggests memorials to the donor's favorite charity. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
