Colvin “Bing” Ko Domingo passed away on February 20, 2022, in Midland, TX. Colvin was born on October 21, 1950 in Zamboanga City, Philippines to Teofilo Lanzarote and Amparo Ko Domingo.
Colvin was a brilliant person obtaining government scholarships in GSIS and Science. He was able to attend college at Mindanao State University and Jesuit Ateneo de Manila University, one of the most prestigious universities in the Philippines, where he eventually obtained an Economics Degree.
Colvin is survived by his two brothers, Dr. Ramon Domingo (Minda) and Jose Domingo (Margot); nephews Daniel Domingo, Joseph Domingo (Sheila), Dr. Raymond Domingo (Catherine), Dr. Robert Domingo (Sarah); nieces Catherine Domingo and Christina Behan (John); grandnieces and grandnephews Andrew, Aurora, Luke, and Nathaniel; and numerous cousins in the United States and Philippines.
He was treasured and loved by all who knew him.
The Domingo Family also wishes to thank Dr. Sonny Ortega, the nursing staff of Ashton Medical Lodge, and the interim hospice team that took wonderful care of him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Helping Hands of Midland. Also, because of the pandemic, there will be no reception. That money will be used to make a donation to Helping Hands in honor of Colvin.
A rosary will be recited 7:00pm, Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial mass will take place 10:00am, Saturday, February 26, 2022 at St. Stephens Catholic Church.
