LTC Joseph Rosser Bobbitt III, USA (ret.) left a message on November 30, -0001:
COL Wallace was a fearless leader as the senior advisor to the 25th ARVN Infantry Division. As a boss, he was relaxed and compassionate. With apologies, I just found the obituary. I have a number of pictures of the Boss in Vietnam if any are interested. Yours, Rosser
Major Paul Finfrock left a message on November 30, -0001:
To the family of COL Wallace: I am saddened to learn of the death of one of my heroes, Bruce Wallace. From the time that we first met, he was an inspiration to me as a soldier, an officer, and as a paratrooper. Though my association with him was only about 18 months, I have thought of him often whether in Afghanistan, Iraq, or even when testing new parachutes at the Test Board at Fort Bragg and you see his name still there. It is an honor to have known him and I'm deeply saddened that I will not be able to come see him while home on leave. He was a true American hero and national treasure and his legacy will live on in the lives and service of the men that he influenced. May God be with you in your loss. Sincerely, Major Paul T.
