Cole Swanner was born on September 29, 1991 in Lancaster, CA and went to be with his Lord on January 25, 2023 in San Angelo, TX at the age of 31.
A visitation will be held Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services will take place at 2:00pm, Monday, January 30, 2023 at Golf Course Road Church of Christ. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Cole is survived by his son, C.J. Swanner of San Angelo, TX and daughter Tenille Swanner of Byars, OK; parents, Dan and Tina Swanner; sister, Natalie Swanner; and grandmother Bettye Ryan all of Midland, TX.
Cole is preceded in death by his twin brother Clark Swanner, his grandparents Tiny and Helen Mason and grandfather O’Neil Ryan.
As a child growing up in Midland, along with his brother Clark, they were very active in all school activities and loved sports, especially baseball. The family loved camping, water sports, vacationing, and going to all the games. He was a member of the Midland High School Varsity Baseball team.
Cole worked in various jobs in the oil field in West Texas. While in Oklahoma he worked for Seth Wadley Ford as a successful sales person, which he enjoyed. Cole spent many hours helping others to know Jesus, his Savior, while he was in recovery himself. Cole left behind a beautiful legacy in his two children, C.J. and Tenille.
