Charlsye Lynn Smith

Charlsye Lynn Smith, 85, of Big Spring, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025.  She will lie in-state from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral in Big Spring. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home- Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Coahoma Cemetery.

Charlsye was born November 19, 1940 in Sherman, Texas to parents Charles Bert and Pearlie Jo (Bullard) Davis. She married Billy Lee Smith, Sr. on June 26, 1958 in Durant, OK. Charlsye loved playing bunco, attending softball games, having long chats with her friends, and being with her family.

She is survived by her son, Billy Smith (Dena); grandchildren, Jake Smith (Sydnie) and Brandi Harris (Josh); great-grandchildren, Blaire, Jett, Ava. Hudson, Harper, and Jemma; sister, Peggy Ann Steadman; nephew, Frank Noska (Millie); niece, Gretchen Reck (Bryan), and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Bert and Pearlie Jo (Bullard) Davis; husband, Billy Lee Smith; daughter, Penny Lynn Smith; and grandson, Jerrod Lee Smith.
