Charlotte Marie Starr, 87, of Midland passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in Midland. Memorial service will be 10:00am Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tim Walker officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Ft. Worth.Charlotte was born August 17, 1929 in Abilene, Texas to Everett Hanford Starr and Janice Edna Bush Starr. She graduated from the University of Arizona and went on to achieve her Master’s Degree from the University of Minnesota. Charlotte taught for many years in different school districts before retiring from Midland ISD. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. Those left to cherish her memory are son, Everett Butler and wife Donna of Abilene Texas; daughter, Cheri Rodgers and husband Monty of Whitharral Texas; three sisters, Jean Martin of El Paso Texas, Helen Roberts of Levelland Texas and Virginia Harris of Levelland Texas; seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. ,
