Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park North in Midland.The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Gilbreath Funeral Home.Charles was born February 10, 1939 in Stanton and married Sylvia Richardson, February 3, 1961 in Big Spring.Charles served in the United States Army. He was born and raised in Stanton. Charles shared the responsibility of farming the family land in Martin County for 50 years. He loved pulling antique tractors and his grandchildren.Charles is survived by his wife, Sylvia Hale of Stanton; two daughters, Shanna Ginder and husband, Brian of Midland and Brenna Beasley and husband, Randy of Stanton; one son, Bryan Hale and wife, Kitty of Stanton; eleven grandchildren, Jared Hale and wife, Kayla, Jason Hale and wife, Amanda, Jami Gray and husband, Dalton, Jordan Hale, Kyle McCarty and wife, Lisa, Stacy Cox and husband, Jason, Amber Nolan and husband, Robbie, Jennifer Patterson and husband, Luke, Robin Beasley, Cody Beasley, and Haley Ginder; eight great grandchildren, Mackenzie Hale, Hagan Hale, Kolten Hale, Braxton Nolan, Landon Villareal, Madelyn McCarty, Kyler Cox, and Kinley Cox; four brothers, Doyle Hale of Stanton, Bill Hale and wife, Juanita of Brownwood, Hubert Hale and wife, Flo of Stanton and Kenneth Hale and wife, Bobbie Faye of Proctor; two sisters, Lura Davis of Midland and Betty Sue Crocker and husband, Sonny of Big Spring.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Nettie Hale and four sisters, Averille Badgett, Berniece Vannoy, Jean Ann Padgett and Mamie McFerrin.The family suggests memorials to a charity of choice.Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.
