Cecil Lynn Townley

Cecil Lynn Townley, 81, of Stanton, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at his residence. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2021, at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at Gilbreath Funeral Home.
He was born February 13, 1940 in Paducah, Texas to William and Mary Borland Townley. Cecil married Becky Saunders June 1, 1979 in Stanton.
He retired from the City of Stanton after many years of service. He enjoyed roping and tripping steers, playing golf, but most of all loved attending his grandchildren’s events.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Townley of Stanton; three daughters, Valerie Nobles and husband, Kim, of Shallowater, Linda Sifford of Burleson, and Celia Townley of Lampasas; one son, Marty Graham and wife, Susan, of Stanton; one brother, Warren Townley and wife, Nona, of Canyon; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mike Graham; and a sister, Rita Siegler.
