Carrie Belew (aka MeMom), 94, of Big Spring, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at 8:25 pm. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, February 11, 2022 at Trinity Memorial Park.

Carrie was born September 17, 1927 in Drasco, Texas to Mary Partlow Raley and Ira Raley. She married James Belew in 1943 in Abilene, Texas. She worked for Big Spring ISD for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with all her grandchildren. She was a member of College Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Don Belew and wife Roxy and one daughter, Jamie Belew Davis and husband Frank, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Jo Meador and one brother, James Raley.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Belew Sr., two grandsons, Darrell Belew Jr. and Brayden Sizenbach and a sister Wanda Collier.
