Carolyn Rose Weaver Walls

Carolyn Walls, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. A visitation will be held from 4:00pm – 6:00pm Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Carolyn Rose Weaver Walls was born on December 1, 1942 in Clarksville, Texas to Jack Weaver & Rachel Bullard.  Carolyn grew up in Red River County, Texas & in Dumas, Texas. She attended Dumas schools, and as an adult attended Odessa College. Carolyn loved to sew and made many stylish outfits for her family and herself due to her talents. During her life, she owned a ladies’ boutique, and an oil company, as well as being involved in real estate. Carolyn was an avid reader, favoring historical fiction and Texas History. She enjoyed her time spent with the ladies in the Red Hat Club, as well as Midland Newcomers Club & Republican Women Organization.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Toni C. Fletcher (Bart) and James M. Clark (Bonnie), her sister & brother Kathy Woods & James McGill, grandchildren Shelby Fletcher and Meghan & Michael Clark, great-grandchildren Memphis Rose Johnson, and Hannah, Jamison & Emerson Clark.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Weaver & Rachel Bullard McGill, her brother Harry Weaver, and husband Jack Walls.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards Midland Memorial Hospital & Hospice of Midland.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lone Star Animal Sanctuary.
