Carla Rose Foster (formerly Pavlovsky), age 58, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away on July 11, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. Carla was born on August 9, 1965, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Rannel Conway (R.C.) Pavlovsky and Kayleen (Kay) Pavlovsky (formerly Ledford).
In 1979, Carla moved to Big Spring, Texas, where she attended Big Spring High School. It was there she met Todd Foster, whom she married and shared 35 wonderful years. Together, they raised two children and built a life filled with love and laughter.
Carla was a creative soul with a passion for arts and crafts and baking, often winning blue ribbons for her exceptional work. She had an infectious love for conversation and eagerly engaged with anyone about anything. Her compassion extended beyond humans to animals, as she never let a stray go unnoticed. She was a caring mother and a devoted wife, always putting her family first.
Carla is survived by her loving husband, Todd Foster of Big Spring; her son, Rannel Bradley Foster-Burke of Austin, Texas; her daughter, Kandis Lee Wilkinson of Big Spring, Texas; her grandsons, Nicholas Hardwick and Robert Wilkinson; her sister, Tammy Pavlovsky McIntosh; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ronald and Donald Pavlovsky, and many close and dear friends.
Carla’s caring nature, generous spirit, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home on Saturday, July 20th, at 3 p.m. The family would like to express their gratitude towards the hospital staff at UMC in Lubbock, Texas.
