Bonnie Evelyn Allred born March 5, 1938 to Lonnie Odee and Ruth Green in Brownfield, Texas. She married Billy Ray Allred on July 6, 1956. They had three children – Kevy (Nancy), Kelvin (Danon), and Tamala. Bonnie was a long time employee of the First National Bank of Stanton. She had many hobbies, loved to sew, quilt, garden, play Skip-Bo, read, and travel. She visited many countries and saw all 50 states in the U.S. She volunteered at the school and Meals on Wheels. Bonnie loved being with people. A longtime member of the Church of Christ where she helped in many capacities. She was one of the first workers for the Old Settlers Trades Day.
She had one sister Joyce Gerdes of Weatherford, and one brother Lonnie Green of McGregor. Her two other brothers J.D. Green and Bud Green and son-in-law Todd Smith are deceased.
She is survived by two sons – Kevy (Nancy) and Kelvin (Danon) and one daughter Tamala, five grandchildren – Brandy (Trey) Finck, Ty (Erica) Smith, Dusty (Brianna) Allred, Tasha (Bryan), and Kiley (James) Mann. Eleven great grandchildren – Wyatt, Braylan, and Hattie Creech, Clara, TJ, Callie, and Cuyler Smith, Hailey, Riley, and Bowen Mann, and Hank Finck.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Martin Co. Senior Citizens or Evergreen Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Midland and the staff at Manor Park.
