Bobby Jean Hensley, 81, passed away August 11, 2013 in Midland, Texas. Bobby was born in Kingston, West Virginia to Ernest and Chloe Hensley. On May 5, 1954, Bobby married Hildegard Mayr while stationed in Germany. Bobby retired from the United States Army and gave 20 years of service to his country. After retiring from the Army, Bobby and his wife owned and operated Desert Haven Trailers in El Paso, TX. He was a Past Commander of the American Legion for 3 posts, served as secretary/treasurer of the Lions Club, was a member of the VFW, and a Master Mason. He loved animals and during his down time he enjoyed working in his garden. Busy as he was, Bobby always found time for his family and was very family oriented.Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Hildegard M. Hensley, daughter JoAnn Regan from Phoenix, AZ, sons: Wayne A. (Kim) Hensley of Midland, TX, and Robert G. (Lindy) Hensley of Shorewood, MN, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by grandson, Brandon W. Hensley.
