Billy Roy Wilson (known by some as Flip) went to his Heavenly home May 2, 2022. He was born March 14, 1934 in Weatherford, Texas to Wilbur & Nellie Wilson. He was raised in Mineral Wells, Texas. Bill went to Tarleton. He met the love of his life, Dolores O. Hudson, at North Texas State at Denton, Texas. They were married on August 26, 1955. They had a great 66 years together. They were blessed with two daughters, Pamala and Kim.
Bill was working part time for Acme Brick while at North Texas to help pay for his college expenses and continued with Acme for 17 years. Acme transferred Bill and family to Midland, Texas in 1967. It was the last of many moves. After getting the Acme Brick Midland office profitable, they wanted to transfer him to Houston. Bill declined and quit. He worked for Rogers Ford in Midland until he retired.
Bill and Dee loved to travel and made many road trips, always with golf clubs in the car. They went on cruises and island hopping.
When God called him, he died in Dee’s arms at home.
Bill left his wife, two daughters and their husbands, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren to cherish his memory.
Burial will be a private graveside for family only.
