Billy Dale Byrom age 88 of Midland, Texas passed away on February 8, 2023.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, February 13, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Billy Dale Byrom was born on November 8, 1934 in Nocona, Texas to Cecil and Opal Byrom. He entered the US Army Station in El Paso, Texas on July 21, 1954 and was honorably discharged on June 20, 1956. Dale graduated from Midwest University in 1960. He went to Graduate School at the Consumer Banking in August 1980. He became a 25th Mason in Midland, Texas. He later worked in auto sales and eventually joined Midland National Bank as a Loan Officer in 1971 and was employed in that institution for ten years. Leaving there he was employed in oil field sales for Master Rentals. After leaving there he became Executive VP for American Lenders where he worked for 25 years until his retirement at the age of 80 years old. He married Betty Fay Byrom on September 10, 1982. They were happily married and best friends for 40 years. They were blessed with so many loving family, friends and very helpful neighbors.
Billy Dale Byrom is survived by wife, Betty Byrom; daughters, Tressa Edwards, DeeBee Upshaw and husband Keith, Tanya Schaffer and husband Alan; sister, Paula Gilliland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Opal Byrom; brother, Cecil (Sonny) Byrom; son, Dennis Byrom; daughter, Loretta Hamilton; grandsons, Jason Hamilton and Jake Hamilton.

Pallbearers are Richard Thomason, Willie Wilson, David Ramos, Wayne Howland, Gary Mariott and Mark Treadgill.
Honorary Pallbearers are Taelyn Barber, Cody Mariott, Cutter Mariott, Michael Edwards, John David Hamilton, Red Hutson and Tim Caviness.
