Billie Lewis, 63, of Midland, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Midland. The family will hold private services.Billie was born September 23, 1946 in Ranger to Dessie (Thompson) and William Roulston. She married Thomas Lewis in June 1984. He preceded Billie in death on March 11, 2006.Billie was the first franchise holder for Century 21 Real Estate in the state of Texas. She worked in real estate for many years in Midland. She taught real estate courses at Midland College. From 1994 to 1997, she was the local branch manager for Allied Mortgage Company.Survivors include daughter, Lisa Lewis and husband Jerry of Midland; sister, Janice Klapproth and husband Charles of Midland; granddaughter, Amanda Maynard and husband Eddie; 2 great grandchildren, Angelle and Justin Maynard; and 2 nephews, Mack Brown and Dave Klapproth.The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice Midland, PO Box 2621, Midland, TX 79702.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. She was TRULY an angel here on earth. From day one of knowing her, I knew she was a gentle, beautiful soul. I am saddened that I was not around to speak to her one last time before she left us. I will miss our chats, and the laughs that we had. You will be dearly missed and will always hold a special place in my heart, but God needed His angel more than we did. She is home sharing God's glory...and for this, my heart is at peace.

Cactus Rose, my friend I found out so late you were gone. I am deeply saddened by the news. I really loved chatting with you and playing games with you. You made me laugh, you never forgot to drop milkbones for Sadie Rose. We miss you and will forever carry you in our heart.

She will always be remembered but never for gotten she is at peace now watching over everyone we all love u and miss you

Im so sorry to hear what I heard from ur daughter Lisa today. You will be missed today is such a bad day, but I know you are in a better place. My Prayers are with ur family and friends. I will miss all the talks we had and kick butt on fw... You were the GREATEST Person, I can remember when you felt you could finelly ride the nhl so awhile and we so excited..lol At that point you had me quit taking you down and knew you were a big DIVA.. I miss u so much.. I have to go but remember you will be love and I will see you in our next life. If I type any misstakes Im crying to hard to notice.. I luv u my friend... "O)
