Billie Bob Robertson left this life on April 21, 2021 to step into his next everlasting life in the arms of Jesus.
He was born May 1, 1974 in Victoria, Texas to Bonnie and Willis LaGene “Gene” Robertson.
He was raised in Midland, Texas. In his teen years, he enjoyed team roping with his dad and throughout his life, developed passions for fishing, fly fishing, writing computer code, and music. He graduated from Midland High School, class of 1992.
He was a talented self-taught musician with the bass guitar, guitar, mandolin, and banjo in his repertoire. During the 90’s he was a member of a band that played the opening for the Dixie Chicks at the Harvest Moon festival in Fort Davis, Texas.
Shortly after graduation, he moved to Abilene, Texas where he pursued his love of music and met the love of his life, Annelorre Dostal. He accumulated countless friends throughout Texas living in Lewisville, and Denton. In 2000, he moved back home to Midland, made his mark and was well known throughout the community in the construction industry and through volunteering at several organizations. In the final years of his life, he derived great pleasure from reading, enjoying music, and writing construction and computer programs.
Billie is preceded in death by wife Annelorre Dostal, Grandparents Billie W. And Letta Robertson, Brother Lynn Robertson and Aunt Brenda Woodruff.
He is survived by parents Willis LaGene and Bonnie Robertson of Midland, sister Keelee Robertson of Midland, brother Randy Robertson and wife Sherry of Elkhart, Kansas, grandparents J.B. and Lorene Woodruff of Midland, uncle Tom Woodruff and wife Nancy of Granbury, Texas, uncle Joel Woodruff of Teague, Texas, aunt Patty and husband Bobby Conner of Lubbock, Texas, aunt Terrie and husband Larry Rhodes of Lubbock, Texas, niece Shea Robertson of Elkhart, Kansas, nephew Rhett Robertson of Germany, nephew Kraeger Crouch of Midland, Texas and numerous other family and friends.
The visitation will be held on Monday April 26, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 3800 N. Big Spring St. in Midland. The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday April 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at Cotton Flat Baptist Church, 6409 South State Highway 349 in Midland, officiated by Bro. Rick Holeman.
