I am so sorry to just get this news so late. I remember Betty Jean as a friend and the loss of a class mate becomes very personal. This is a huge loss of one of our very own. I remember the faces of my dear friends as they were in happier times and also remember seeing Betty Jean in Brownwood, Texas in 2006.
