Gene and family, Gene my heart goes out to you as you face this difficult time. After reading Betty's obituary, I can see what a wonderful person she was. I was especially impressed with her works for the Lord. I had planned to come to the service today, but Gwen and I are going on a mission trip to Argentina tomorrow. At the last minute, the missionary asked me to prepare a sermon on marriage for a marriage emphasis weekend they are holding while we are there. They also wanted Gwen and I both to speak at a luncheon about what makes our marriage work. We prepared a 120 other lessons for the month we are there, but this is an extra one on a totally different subject, so we needed to get it prepared today. I needed to get a good part of it done where I had access to my library. The airlines have weight restrictions on our luggage and I can't cart extra books. Please know that I am there in spirit.
