Gene and family, Gene my heart goes out to you as you face this difficult time. After reading Betty's obituary, I can see what a wonderful person she was. I was especially impressed with her works for the Lord. I had planned to come to the service today, but Gwen and I are going on a mission trip to Argentina tomorrow. At the last minute, the missionary asked me to prepare a sermon on marriage for a marriage emphasis weekend they are holding while we are there. They also wanted Gwen and I both to speak at a luncheon about what makes our marriage work. We prepared a 120 other lessons for the month we are there, but this is an extra one on a totally different subject, so we needed to get it prepared today. I needed to get a good part of it done where I had access to my library. The airlines have weight restrictions on our luggage and I can't cart extra books. Please know that I am there in spirit. May the Lord bless you and keep you during this time. God bless. Jim Lorenz

I wanted to tell your family how sorry I am for your loss, there really isn't anything that anyone can say right now to make you not grieve. I know how hard it is to lose someone you love so much, and even though we know we will see them in Heaven for eternity, you still miss so many little things about them. Just praise God for the wonderful life you had together, and all the great memories of Betty and how many peoples life she touched. I know she will be greatly missed, but Thank You Jesus we will all be together again for eternity. God Bless your family, you are in my prayers, Love Tracy

Dear Gene: We were so sad to hear of Bettys passing. The last time we talked, we felt like she had turned the corner. We are sorry we did not get to know Betty better. It seems destiny separated us each time we were scheduled to be together. We knew her well enough to love her, as we do you and will have you in our prayers.
