Betty C. Isaacs, 75 of Midland, left this life on Earth for her eternal home in heaven on March 24, 2012, at Midland Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 2:00pm at Mid-Cities Community Church with Pastor Daniel Stephens officiating. A graveside service will follow, March 30, 2012 at Truce Cemetery, Truce Tx. for family and close friends.She was born on March 22, 1937 in Bowie, Tx to the late Estelline and Willie Williams. She has one sibling Joyce Garrett of Bowie, Tx, She graduated from Bowie High School in 1954. She was a long time resident of Midland, Tx where she lived with her husband Gene Isaacs. Their Christ-centered marriage was an inspiration to all who knew them.Betty was a strong woman of God, a mighty prayer warrior, and a gifted teacher of the word of God. Her love of ministry took her on several mission trips including Russia, Indonesia, and S. Korea. She had a special place in her heart for women's ministry. Her motto even to the end was: "Men always ought to pray and not lose heart." Luke 18:1Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter. Survivors include: her husband Gene Isaacs. Children: Karla Hamilton (Charles) of Austin, Tx , Kerry Gregg (Carla) of Decatur, Tx, Kelly Dupriest (Cory) of Amarillo, Tx, and Carrie Urquidez (Phillip) of Kaufman, Tx. Other survivors include one sister, Joyce Garrett of Bowie, Tx. 11 grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as "Meme", Chelsi, Tiffani, Wesley, Will, Sarah, Sydney, Chandler, Meg, Riley, Mattie and Ryan. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. G. Patel, Dr. James Huston and all the compassionate nurses and staff of the CCU at Midland Memorial Hospital.
