Betty was born August 4, 1929 to parents Walter Ringener and Lela Mae (Smith) Ringener in Big Spring, Texas. She loved sewing and crocheting along with doing crafts.

Betty is survived by her son Hoppy Bedell (Dee); grandchildren Stephanie Torres (Stephen), Kimberly Neely, and Melany Bedell; great grandchildren; Devan Bedell and Ethan Bedell and her siblings Lillian Collum, Merel Ringener and Carolyn Pittenger, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Earl H. Bedell.

Dear Hop , Dee and family, I had the privilege to really get to know her before I moved to Mississippi. She would be at Mama Ringener and Papa's, and I went by every day before I moved. She really was a sweetheart but didn't won't anyone to know. She called me when daddy was sick in Lubbock and told me to stay with him, and that she would stay with mother. That is a Special Person. I am especially grateful to her for allowing me to do that. I loved both of your parents.
