Betty Ann (Crider) Watson, 72 of Midland, Texas peacefully passed away from a short battle of cancer on January 31, 2018. She was surrounded by her family.Betty Ann was born on July 17, 1945 in Monahans, Texas to Daniel Robert Crider and Juanita Harris Crider. She was the third of five children, and graduated Monahans High School in 1963.Betty Ann met the love of her life, Wes Watson in Midland, Texas and they married on February 26, 1966 at Monahans Baptist Church. In 1969 they welcomed their son Michael. Betty Ann devoted her life to being a homemaker, dedicated mother and a loving wife.She loved to fish, cook, enjoyed playing computer games, crosswords puzzles, and spending time with her sister.She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wes Watson her son Michael, brother Bobby Crider and his wife Nancy of Crane, Texas, Sister, Barbara Edmonson of Midland, Texas, Brother Larry Crider and Annell Crider of Southlake, Texas, brother Danny Crider of Abilene, Texas, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty Ann is preceded in death by her mother and father.The family will receive guests from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Sunday, February 4, 208 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, February 5, 2018 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.The family wishes to give the utmost thanks to the caring professionals at Compass Hospice of Midland.
