Barbara Gay Welch

Barbara Gay Welch, 73, of Big Spring, passed away April 24, 2022 in Odessa. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

Barbara was born February 4, 1949 in Stanton, Texas to Geraldine and JC Jackson. She loved scrapbooking, art, shopping and her animals. She loved going to the mountains in Ruidoso. She retired from the Big Spring State Hospital after 17 years of service. She had worked in many capacities within the state before retiring. She married Adron Welch on July 5, 1991 in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Adron Welch; daughter: Tiffanie Welch; grandson: Corey Welch; step-children: Bryan Welch and Lisa Welch Malone and a sister: Carol Lloyd and grandchildren: Morgan Welch, Jordan Malone and Austin Malone.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Peggy Williams.
