Vickie H A Cordova left a message on March 27, 2023:
On behalf of the family of the late Merejildo and Felipa Heredia, we all were blessed to have a wonderful friendship with Arnold. He was like a son to my grandparents and a brother to my aunts and uncles. Arnold served with Felipa and the late Deacon Jesse Guajardo (alone with others) in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Jail Ministries for many years and had a deep love for those who were incarcerated and shared God's love and mercy with all. His tender, caring heart also tended to the elderly whom he also spent much time with and left a smile and grand mark on so many hearts. Goyita, we have always held you both in our hearts and as part of our family. We are here for you and we know that during this Lenten season, Arnold has entered the Kingdom of Heaven, our true home, with the trumpets playing and the saints awaiting his entrance! With all of our love, Elodia Heredia and Vickie Cordova

My condolences to the De La Garza family on the passing of Arnold. I am so sorry and heartbroken to hear this . He was a great friend. I met Arnold in the early 70s .. and became friends..we trained together in Tae Kwon-do And we were active at OLGC in Midland .. he was such an inspiration to me in my younger days. I remember the Sunday mornings visiting the courthouse jail inmates and sharing our Catholic faith. His kindness and joyfulness is going to be missed. He and his wife would always come by our yearly garage sales. I will miss him very much. But I know I will see him in the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. May you rest in peace Arnold. Your brother in Christ. Oscar & Mindy Jimenez
