Anthony Sullivan, a hardworking and devoted man, gained his heavenly wings on January 9, 2025. Anthony was born on October 21, 1971 in Midland, Texas. He lived a life full of passion and service towards others and loved his family with all his heart.
Anthony met the love of his life, Susanne Sullivan, in 1992. In 33 years, Anthony and Susanne built a life of love and family, including his daughter Samantha Jones, his son Elijah Sullivan and three very loved grandchildren Nevaeh, Xavier and Malachi.
Anthony has also left to cherish his memories his mother Rosita (Mary) Burns, brothers Lewis Sullivan (Sheila), Dexter Burns (Lisa), Alex Burns; sisters Bonnie Clemons and Zyshunmen Clemons. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Anthony’s love for family started during his early years of following behind his aunts and uncles to Cole Park Zoo. He built fatherly bonds chauffeuring his uncles around town as he learned life lessons from both them and his older brother Lewis. He leaves a void in the hearts of so many people whose lives he touched with his desire to always lend a hand. His bond with his aunt and second mother, Faye Jackson, will forever remain unbreakable. If you knew Anthony, you would know he had a passion for bbqing. Not only did he master the art of bbqing, but he enjoyed it the most because it allowed him to sit back and watch his family gather, laugh and enjoy each other’s company. The memories of standing behind the bbq pit will be cherished by his grilling partner Jimmy Trevino. Sunday dinners will now have an empty seat that will never be filled as he leaves memories of what a family should be like. Anthony spent Sunday dinners with his wife, daughter, grandchildren and not to forget his most cherished sister-in-law Margie Barboza and his co-pilot niece Kelly Barboza. He watched his little partner Sagel Trevino aka Lil G grow up to be a man with a Lil G of his own. Anthony’s lifelong boys La Quarrie Scott, Wayne Butler and Larry Barber will remember bumping Scar Face in his white Sky Lark as they got into “who knows what” or working and eating at Golden Corral. His lifelong friend and cousin, Mel Trevino, who he loved to fight and argue with since day one but would drop anything for her. The last few months were spent traveling to his second home to visit Lory Maxwell where he loved to drink his coffee on the back porch and enjoy his mornings. It’s impossible to mention all the lives he touched because he never met a stranger.
Anthony spent his days doing what he loved most. He began working for Laurence Hahn in 1998 and after Laurence’s passing, Anthony continued to work for the family until the present time. He also worked for Charles Seltzer (Bro) for 10 years and there wasn’t a bbq that Anthony had that he didn’t deliver Bro his to go plate. Anthony’s family would like to thank Leslie Hahn, the late Peggy Hahn and Bro Charles Seltzer for making him part of your family.

He was the most selfless person you will ever meet. He was quick-witted and always put others before him. There is not enough paper in the world to even begin to write a tribute for you, but no one deserves it more. It’s hard to forget someone that gave you so much to remember. Rest easy Big Ant. You look after our family in Heaven, and we’ll look after yours here on earth.
