Annie Pearl Cook, of Big Spring, died Sunday, June 22, 2014 in a Big Spring hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the First Christian Church in Big Spring with Monsignor Bernard Gully and Rev. Ken McIntosh, officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos. Annie was born February 26, 1934 in Ballinger, Texas and married Marion Cook in Pecos in 1952. He preceded her in death December 13, 2003. She was an avid reader and card player and especially enjoyed playing Bridge. She was a Catholic. Her family was very dear to her and she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived her daughter, Cynthia Scott and husband, John of Big Spring; one granddaughter, Anna Eileen Scott of Big Spring; one sister, Linda Bailey and husband, Bob of Ballinger; and one nephew, Jon Bailey and wife, Lacey, and his children, Davis, Truitt, and Brogan of San Angelo. Other family members include nephew, Ervin Lee Halfmann and wife, Beth and one daughter, Jamie of San Angelo; sister-in-law, Linda Halfmann of Georgetown and her son, Eugene Patrick Halfmann and wife Krystal and two children of Fort Worth and her daughter (and Annie's precious niece), Jennifer Halfmann Decuir and her husband, Shawn, and daughter, Jessica of San Antonio; Charles Hafmann and wife, Marsha of San Angelo and their son, Derrick of Austin; nephew, Louis Halfmann and family of Irving; niece, Evelyn Gilbert of San Angelo; sister-in-law, Joann Cook Beauchamp and husband, Tommy of San Angelo and their daughters and son: Kathy Beauchamp Green and husband, Bennie of Big Spring; Karen Beauchamp Dillon and husband, Gary of Cloudcroft, NM; and Thomas Beauchamp of Austin; nephew, Charles Morehead of Odessa; brother-in-law, Johnny Cook and son, Johnny Lee Cook of Odessa; nephews, Chris Crawford, Bruce Crawford of Schnecksville, PA and Bret Crawford of Krum, TX; brother-in-law, Ernest Cook of Pecos and sister-in-law, Margie Cook of Beaumont. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Anna (Willi) Halfmann; her son, William Cook; and five brothers, Lawrence, Jimmy, LeRoy, Ervin, and Eugene Halfmann.
