Anna Stewart, 99, longtime resident of Big Spring, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026.  Viewing will be from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.  Graveside services will begin at 1:00 pm at Trinity Memorial Park.

Anna was born August 10, 1926 in Knott, Texas to parents Rufus and Elizabeth Neff. Her hobby was raising children and being a homemaker.

Anna is survived by her children: Linda Davis, Wendell Stewart, Betty Roberts (Terry) and Karon Avant (Dale); grandchildren: Donnie Davis (Gail), Leslie Bragdon (Ken), Jeffrey Dekeyser (Deanna), Misty Bailey (Craig), Joseph Dekeyser (Karie Gross) and Evan Avant; great-grandchildren: Kaci, Stormy, Amorissa, Cooper, Abby, Emma, Olivia; her sister Patsy Humphrey; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Stewart; daughter Shirley Stewart, and her siblings: Byron Neff, Viola Hodnett, Velma Morris, Virginia Cline, Authur Neff, Hubert Neff and Ruth Stepp.

Grandma, You were one of the sweetest and most generous people that ever lived, often giving your last dime to others. And all the memories you are part of... I will always remember when I was a child how much I wanted to visit you and how much I HATED when we had to leave. I will also remember all the games I'd bug you to play. When I got older, you gave me $20 to get me to eat a tomato so I had gas money to go do something. To this day, I still have the big stereo you put on your M. Wards card so I could make payments to purchase it (thank you mom for helping when I couldn't pay). I never use it, but still have it possibly because you and mom were involved in my first big purchase. I love you and miss you,
