Anna Marie Fish, 89, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Ken McIntosh, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. The family willl receive friends from 7 PM to 8 PM Friday, May 7, 2010, at the funeral home.She was born on October 8, 1920 in Iowa Park, Texas and married John Henry Fish on July 5, 1941 in Iowa Park. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2010.Anna graduated from the University of Texas in 1940 with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish. In 1948, she moved with her family to Big Spring.Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. John R. and Donna Fish of Big Spring, Dr. Gary Edd and Nancy Fish of Dallas, Dr. Kenton and Anne Fish of San Angelo and Dr. Barry and Marty Fish of Lake Jackson; 10 grandchildren, Dianna Fish and Dr. Larry Fish and wife, Silpi all of Big Spring, Nathan Fish and wife, Lily of Houston, Joel Fish of Dallas, Lauren Fish, Drew Fish and Hannah Fish all of San Angelo, and Megan Fish, Sara Fish and Katie Fish all of Lake Jackson; four great grandchildren, Ryan Fish, Brianna Welch and Marissa Welch all of Big Spring and Stella Jane Fish of Houston; one sister, Marjorie Hall of Fort Worth and two sisters-in-law, Winnie Dee Garth of Dallas and Edna Fish of Paducah.She was also preceded in death by her parents, Edd and Emma Hieserman; one brother, Clarence Hieserman and one sister, Gertrude Primm.The family suggests memorials be made to the First Christian Church, 911 Goliad, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
