Andrew Henry Feist, Jr., of Midland, Texas, died on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Resthaven Memorial Park, Midland, Texas, with Rev. Randall Everett, pastor of First Baptist Church of Midland, officiating.He was born on April 3, 1927 in Veribest, Texas, to Leona Clara (Peiser) and Andrew Henry Feist, and married Lloma Lee Williams on December 31, 1946, in San Angelo, Texas, after serving in the U.S. Army.Andrew worked for Trans Texas Airways in San Angelo and was transferred to Midland in 1967 working for Texas International Airlines. In 1972 he was transferred to Albuquerque, New Mexico, with Texas International Airlines, which bought Continental Airlines keeping the Continental Airlines name. He retired from Continental Airlines in 1983 and returned to Midland where he remained after his retirement. He volunteered for the CAF in Midland for many years and loved to hunt and fish.Survivors include his wife, Lloma Feist, three sons, Gary Lee Feist and wife Pamela Dawn of Midland, Larry Dwain Feist of Midland, and Stephen Craig Feist of Dallas; grandchildren Andrew William Feist of Dallas, and Brandon Matthew Feist of Midland and their mother Pamela Dale Feist of Midland; sisters Mary Ruth Mees, Jo Ann Palmer and Wanda Faye Smith, all of San Angelo, Texas; sisters-in-law Johnnie Ivins and husband Moe of San Antonio, Texas, and Aubrey Duncan and husband Allen of Kerrville, Texas; many wonderful nieces and nephews; and John Lewis of Dallas whom he loved like a son.
