Funeral Mass

Amelia Chavez, 64 of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 surrounded by her family. A rosary will be held at 7:00pm, Monday, March 7, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday March 8, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.

Amelia “Amy” Luna Chavez is survived by her three daughters, Jennifer Phillips of Weatherford, TX, Paula Phillips and Leticia Phillips; her one son, Eric Phillips all of Midland, TX.

Amy has 9 grandchildren, Deshira Lee, Juwan Lee, Jashay Lee, Kamela Robinson, Dailey Robinson, Devante Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson, Ava Phillips and Diesel Phillips; 4 great grandchildren, Braylen Lee, Ja’Breion Sansom, Za’tori Sansom and Zyla Jackson.

She is also survived by 8 siblings, Yolanda Chavez, Carolyn Chavez, Rudy Chavez, Ricky Chavez, Irene Chavez, Ray Chavez, Cisco Chavez, Ramon Chavez and Becky Chavez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Pauline Chavez; her brother, Robert Chavez; and nephew Justin Trejo.

Pallbearers will be Juwan Lee, Devante Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson, Henry Reyes, Dailey Robinson, Joe Camacho, Anthony Wesley and Jerele Lee.
