A visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at The Branch at npw in Midland, TX. A celebration of her life will begin at 4:30 pm, Friday, February 11, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel.
Amberleigh was born July 30, 1981 in Odessa, TX to Cara and Russell Berry. In 1986, Amberleigh’s family moved to Crockett, TX where they resided for two years. This is where Amberleigh played her first T-Ball game. When her family moved back to Odessa, Amberleigh continued to play softball. She wasn’t the most talented, but she worked harder than anyone else. She moved to Midland in 5th grade and resided there until graduating from MHS in 1999. During this time, she played every sport that was offered but loved the game of softball. She was blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of the girls’ traveling softball team, West Texas Heat where she met and became friends with amazing families. She also played softball for MHS.
After graduating in 1999, Amberleigh continued to play softball in college. She played for El Paso Community College, Navarro Community College, and then Angelo State where she graduated in 2003. Amberleigh then went on to become a restaurant general manager and then worked for some time as a realtor.
Amberleigh loved Big. She has always been loving and passionate and gave her all in all she did.
Amberleigh Berry is survived by her mother and father, Cara and Rusty Berry; sister, Kelsi Berry; brother and sister-in-law, Eryn and Dylan Berry; her beautiful and smart niece and nephew, Ella Berry and Thomas Berry; aunts and uncles – Michelle and Rodney Berry, Ray Nan and David Loughran, Meredith and Johnny Clark, Elva and Ronnie Clark, and Janna Seabourn; and many loving cousins.
