Baird, Allene, 87, of Big Spring, died on Friday, November 3, 2000, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2000, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Ed Williamson, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. Mrs. Baird was born on September 7, 1913 in Paducah, Texas, the daughter of A. C. and Udonia O'Daniel Bass. She married Lowell Baird on March 7, 1932 inLovington, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on September 11, 1981. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Philathea Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker Survivors include two nephews, Bill Bass of Houston and Joe Bass of Snyder and one niece, Candyce Drummond of Midland. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Morris Bass in 1937 and Prentis Bass in 1980. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
