Cluck, Alfred L., 74, of Emerald Hills,California, died on Monday, January 29, 2001, in Emerald Hills, California. Memorial graveside services will be at 11:30 AM Saturday, February 3, 2001, at the Ackerly Cemetery with Rev. Derrick Looney, pastor of Ackerly Baptist Church, officiating. Alfred was born on March 11, 1926 in Rule, Texas and has lived in California for the past 40 years. He was a school teacher for 36 years and entered the landscaping business after retiring. He was a Baptist. Survivors include one sister, Norlyne Gray of Ft. Worth; one sister-in-law, Opal Cluck of Ackerly; two nephews, Bob Ellis of Alvarado and Benny Cluck of Big Spring; three great nephews, Robert Ellis of Ft. Worth and Joel Cluck and Jon Cluck both of Big Spring; one great niece, Kara Ann Shawver and husband, Joey, of Jacksboro and one great great nephew, Shyler Ray Shawver. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosa Cluck and one brother, Norman Cluck. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
