For 80 years, Nalley-Pickle & Welch has been owned and operated by the same family. In fact, our current owner, Kasi Welch Baker, is the granddaughter of our founders, Ernest and Mary Lynn Welch, and the daughter of Tommy and Teresa Welch. Three generations of the Welch family have been here to serve our community.

Because we’re focused solely on the needs of this community, we are in a unique position to be able to respond to you quickly and pay close attention to managing all of the details of your service including the visitation, funeral, burial, and reception. When a funeral home is purchased by a remote corporation, they tend to standardize services to increase profits, resulting in cookie-cutter funerals. Living in Midland, Big Spring, or Stanton is nothing like living in New York City, Chicago, or Los Angeles – and we’re grateful for that! Since our communities are smaller and more tightly knit, there is a pretty good chance you might see some members of our staff at church, events at school, or even at the grocery store.
