Michael Channing Warnick, 57, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on February 16th while at work. Mike lived a life marked by dedication, humor, loyalty, and a steady faith in Christ that shaped the way he treated others.
He proudly served his country as a United States Marine, carrying those values into every chapter of his life.
Mike was a loving father to his daughters, Abigail Ree Henon and Amber Renae Kochi, and a proud grandfather. Abigail and her husband Sean Henon blessed him with his grandson, Ian Quin Henon (2). Amber and her husband, Ameath Kochi, gave him three more grandchildren: Nura Kochi (6), Laith Kochi (3), and Malik Kochi (7 months). His family was his greatest joy.
He is survived by his parents, Ricky and Tanya Warnick; his siblings, Tyrie and Micah Jackson, Seth and Denise Warnick; his grandmother, Betty Busick; his daughters, Abigail and Amber; and his grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and happiness. He was a best friend to all, but Harold Davidson was his closest friend, and Mike considered him a brother.
Mike will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, his loyalty, and his faith in Christ, which guided his life. His presence will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 27, 2026 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow the service at The Branch at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
