Maria Madrid, conocida por todos los que la amaron como Blanca, fue una esposa amorosa, madre dedicada y orgullosa abuela. Amaba al Senor Jesus Cristo y confiaba en el para todas sus necesidades. Fue una fuente de amor y calidez para todos los la conocieron, iluminando cada lugar con su dulce sonrisa y su risa contagiosa. A Blanca le encantaba la vida y disfrutaba bailar con su familia y comer sandia en un caido dia de verano. Tres dias a la semana la podias encontrar en su Restaurante favorito Garely’s Mexican Restaurant. Su mayor fuente de alegria y Fortaleza eran sus nietos, de quienes hablaba con gran orgullo a todo aquel que quisiera escucharla. Sera profundamente extranada y recordada por siempre por su bondad, generosidad y espiritu gentil. Toco la vida de muchos, y su memoria vivira por siempre en nuestros corazones.
Le sobrevive en vida su esposo: Jaime Fernandez.

Maria Blanca Madrid, 68 years of age of Midland, Texas was called home by our lord and savior on February 1, 2026. Maria Blanca Madrid was born on June 21, 1957 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. She is the daughter of Jorge Quintela Gonzalez and Maria Socorro Venegas Gonzalez.
Maria Madrid known by everyone who loved her as Blanca, was a loving wife devoted mother and proud grandmother. She loved and trusted in the Lord for all her needs. She was a source of love and warmth to everyone who knew her. She brightened a room with her sweet smile and contagious laughter, she loved life, enjoyed dancing with her family and eating watermelon on a warm summer day. Three days a week, she could be found eating lunch at her favorite place Garely’s Mexican Restaurant. Her therapy and source of life were her grandbabies. She spoke of them with such pride to anyone who would listen. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her kindness, generosity, and gentle nature. She touched the lives of many and her memory will live in our hearts.
She is survived by her husband Jamie Fernandez
Her 2 children: Thomas Madrid, Geovani Madrid
Also by her 11 Grandchildren: Hope Madrid, Leanne Madrid, Christopher Madrid, Nadia Madrid, Kezia Madrid, Brenden Madrid, Mya Elizabeth Madrid, Liam Madrid, Skyler Madrid, Abryam Madrid, Ariana Herrera

The Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 with viewing from 12:00pm to 9:00pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home located at 3800 N. Big Spring St. Midland, TX 79705.
On Wednesday, February 11, 2026 Funeral Service is at 1:00pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home located at 3800 N. Big Spring St. Midland, TX 79705.
