It is with love and my deepest sorrow for your loss of sweet Zina. David, Bobbie, Carla along with Zina, you have been such a blessing to my, Grandfather Skeet, my mother Ruth, my sister Becky and myself Janis. You are all in my prayers as you navigate this day and the days to come. Zina was such a shining example of the love and friendship everyone needed in this world. I loved the service, thank you so much for including us all in that by livestream. The photo's at the end were heart felt and such a reminder of everything we have to be grateful for with family. I'm so blessed that Papa Skeet found Lockie, because that meant I got Zina and all of you too. With Much love, Janis Redwine

Dearest Carla - my heart breaks for you. Your friendship with Z is one that I admired. They way you worked together... knowing when to lead and when to sit back, the way you bonded like sisters, but honored your business. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special season at GHP. I learned so much about myself, photography and business watching you and Z. Thank you for taking a chance on me as a young teenage girl looking to earn a buck...I earned more than a paycheck in my time at GHP. I earned quality time with my mom when we did special projects, I earned an education in photography and business, I earned wisdom about friendship and family. I earned skills about design and architecture from being in that building. I earned the right to learn about all kinds of people when I would file old proofs. I earned a nannying gig from being with Brent and Kasey. My life is rich and my heart is overwhelmed as remember such a priceless season of my life. I will miss her, but I will always remember her! I love you, Carla!

David - my mind flooded with memories of one of the most precious seasons in my formative years. I loved your wife deeply! She was such a bright spot in my teen and young adult life and I will honor her always. I loved your children too! I remember being tasked with after school pick up and child care errands as part of my unofficial job description while I worked at GHP. I learned so much in those years, bonded with my own mom in that season too. Years later I could go on and on reflecting on the gifts that came by way of the one and only Zina Wood. I will miss her, but I will not forget her. My prayers are for you...that you would experience peace and comfort and be flooded with precious memories in the days ahead.

Zina, you were like my second Mom growing up. I will always remember the wonderful memories I have with you, Casie, Brent, and David and how I always felt like family. I am so sorry you had to go through losing both of your precious babies, but now you will be back with them in Heaven. I will always remember you and love you just like Casie and Brent. David, I am so sorry for your losses and love you. You will see them all again one day. Love you Zina.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Happy mother's day in heaven Mrs zina! One of the best mothers, wife, friend anyone could ever ask for. I know you are celebrating with the kids today up there! I have so many memories at your home and studio. I loved it when mom and aunt diana would clean your home or studio. Meant I got to come over and say hello and hang out in your super cool house. I never in my life saw a self cleaning litter box till I saw yours. Me as a kid though that was the coolest thing ever lol. The waterbeds were so neat! Mom came home one day telling me brent was still in bed one day and she went in his room to wash his sheets and he sat up in bed and scared the tar out of her lol....Your sweet smile and laugh are contagious, I don't think iv ever seen you without your smile and high spirits. Our thoughts and prayers have been with you all over these years.

Sending condolences to David, family and friends. Zina was a delight. Our daughters (Elizabeth and Casie) were twirlers with Forsan Band. We enjoyed trips to Lubbock for twirling outfits and accessories, pep rallies, football games and marching contests plus those anxious moments waiting on decisions to see if our daughters were selected for next year’s twirlers. She was wonderful and enjoyed our times together💙

I remember her is a little girl. Raye Nell and I were quite a few years older and I just remember her as a sweet little girl that thought we were kind of cool wanting to hang out with us. I also have a big memory of eating watermelon with her for some reason. Never know what the memory will remember. Rest in peace sweet lady it sounds like you turned out to be a very nice woman and loved by many. Blessings to your family

David, I'm so sorry about this news. Zina was the sweetest friend in high school. She had such a great smile and a wonderful laugh. Later, I asked her to take a picture of my parents that captured their personalities. They enjoyed taking her direction, and as a result, we have the best photo of them that my sister and I treasure. What a talent she had with a camera. I'll keep you in my prayers. Susan Blassingame
