Billie “Jonel” Camp, 90 of Big Spring, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022. She will lie in state Friday, December 16, 2022 from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
“Jonel” was born in Big Spring January 28, 1932 to Byron and Freeda Neel. She graduated from Big Spring High School in 1949 and attended Howard College and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Big Spring. T.A. Camp and Jonel were married on June 30, 1953 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death February 14, 2005. Jonel worked at the State National Bank for 44 years.
She was also preceded in death by her father and mother.
In honor of her wishes, there will not be any services.
Her request was for her friends and family to say “I Love You” to someone and remember happy times together.
