Mrs. McClain, I am very sorry for the heartache you are experiencing at this time. While I did not have the chance to get to know Mr. McClain well, I can tell by the comments and stories of others at the school that he will be missed and that he had impacted students' lives. He cared for them and it showed. I pray for God's peace and grace over you and your extended family. Sincerely, Ron Ledbetter, Texas Leadership Superintendent of Schools

I want to offer my condolence to you, his wife. I am one of Mr. McClain's students. I was in his first period class, once work was finished , we would talk about his addiction to cheese and Mt. Dew. He would speak of you in class, I would think of you as a loving cute couple. He was a wonderful teacher. I had an amazing time in his class.I am sorry for your loss, I will miss him when we go back to school. Take Care of yourself, as I know he would want you to . Mackenzie Clark
