Robert J. Alexander, Jr. also known as Jeff, and called Junior by his closest friends, of Big Spring passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022. A visitation will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday March 29, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Funeral Service following at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Coahoma Cemetery.
Jr. was born on September 21, 1937 in San Angelo, Texas to parents RJ Alexander and Marjorie (Parks) Alexander. He was married to Marjorie Logsdon.
He retired from Oncor Electric. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting. The highlight of his year was his annual Dove Hunt. Jeff also had an entrepreneurial spirit that kept him very busy. He loved farming and raised and sold alfalfa hay for many years. He fulfilled a lifelong dream to own a ranch to hunt on. Each of his grandchildren and great grandchildren held a special place in his heart.
Survivors include his loving wife, Marjorie Alexander; children: Angela Mulanax (Steve), Tracy Nicolls (Troy), Stacy Dykes; brother, Dr. Gerald Alexander (Robbie); grandchildren: Kyrie Bryant (Jovan), Logan Cole Wright (Shastyn), Guerin Lindstrom (Robin), Triston Lindstrom, Landrie Whitaker, Zachary Dykes, Larissa Sarradet (Joseph); ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; and mother in law, Bonnie Logsdon.
Pallbearers include: Logan Wright, Tyrese Clark, Joseph Sarradet, Abel Clark, Kennin Gambrel, Sema ’J (JJ) Wright, Zachary Dykes.
Honorary Pallbearers include his coffee bunch: Joe Bond, Kirby Brown, DeLoyd Hooser, Ben Rubio, Bert Hillger, Dale Taylor and Jackie Touchstone.
The family would like to thank the team at Big Spring Center for Skilled Care as well as Tara and Danielle with Interim Hospice.
