Loyd William Andrew Garrett

Loyd William Andrew Garrett, 68 of Midland, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Loyd was born on November 16, 1953 in Williston, North Dakota to Katherine Price and William Lloyd Garrett. He grew up in Ocala, Florida and attended schools there and marched in Disney World grand opening parade. He moved to Midland in the 1980’s where he began working in the oil field. This is where he met his wife, and started his family before starting his business Rainbow International. Loyd enjoyed coaching soccer, especially his son, being involved in his daughters’ gymnastics and cheer events, watching sports, listening to music and singing loud, but mostly he loved Jesus. Loyd was the best father and provided the greatest childhood throughout the years despite the troubles in his life.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Dorsey of Midland, Texas; son, Kevin Garrett of Midland, Texas; brother, David Garrett; and nieces Stephanie Plant and Jennifer Glaeser.

He is preceded in death by William Lloyd (Buck) Garrett (father), Katherine Irene Garrett (mother), and Jana Kay Stoner (sister).
