I met Goldie in Texas at carswell Federal prison. She had a smile that radiated more than the sun! She was always laughing n roasting ppl but it was all in love. She would cheer me up just by seeing her! Her positivity and personality took her far beyond the bars even in prison. I knew Goldie was gonna do big things when she was released and take the world by storm whether the world was ready or not. Im literally finding out today of her passing and altho we weren't in touch I am gravelly affected, surprised and saddened from this tragedy. I will always remember Goldie's cheesecake poptarts she sold, her deep laugh and her take no shit attitude! She was a tough cookie wit a sweet center. Always a giver and friend when u needed one. I cried n prayed for yr soul dear Goldie. I kno u heard me in heaven and probably laughed at my pj's! Much love from Trina Harris n Donna "phoenix" Forbes

She was such a great lady. She loved her residents she took care of. She touched so many hearts with her kindness. She will be forever missed. Her family should be proud of the women she was. Dance with the angels my sweet friend!!!!
