Latoya Latrice Golden was born on January 17, 1981, in Frederick Oklahoma to Lawanda Carol Golden and Dennis Smith. She attended Lee High School but gained her GED in 2013. She worked as a CNA for 5 years for Terrace West & Focused Care in Midland, Texas.

Latoya was a loving mother; her 5 children was her life! She was a beautiful young lady and had a smile that could light up the world. She always looked out for others before she did herself. She wanted the best for her family and showed them genuine love. She loved bingo, she loved the nature, she loved her family, she loved smiling, she loved having fun, laughing, life in general. Everyone who knew her knows you would hear her before you see her, whether it was her loud voice, or her loud music from her car.

She is survived by her five children, Adevonte Johnson, Adonbreon Golden, Terrianna Steward, Neianna Tryon, and Naylah Tryon; her two grandchildren, Naylah Olgin, Y’anie Olgin; her three nephews, Josiah Golden, Sir Teddy Golden, Dennis Pease; her father, Dennis Smith of Lamesa, Texas; her six brothers, Teddy Golden, and Antwain Golden of Lawton, Oklahoma, Dennis Pease, Donald Pease, Brandon Pease of Lubbock Texas, Justin Beaty of Midland, Texas.

She leaves to cherish and was preceded in death by her daughter, Naylah Tryon, her mother, Lawanda Golden and her sister, Marva Golden.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Elevate Church, 200 Baldwin St. in Midland.  Burial will take place in Frederick Oklahoma.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland.  Online condolences may be made at www.npwelch.com.

I met Goldie in Texas at carswell Federal prison. She had a smile that radiated more than the sun! She was always laughing n roasting ppl but it was all in love. She would cheer me up just by seeing her! Her positivity and personality took her far beyond the bars even in prison. I knew Goldie was gonna do big things when she was released and take the world by storm whether the world was ready or not. Im literally finding out today of her passing and altho we weren't in touch I am gravelly affected, surprised and saddened from this tragedy. I will always remember Goldie's cheesecake poptarts she sold, her deep laugh and her take no shit attitude! She was a tough cookie wit a sweet center. Always a giver and friend when u needed one.
